Board Game Designer Endures Despite Cancellation

Well, cancel pigs once again have their sights set on another indie creator for being Christian and conservative. Their target this time is an indie board game designer Dwight Cenac, who is at odds with the highly politicized board game industry. He has faced a lot of flack over the years for his political and religious beliefs to where he was banned from the Game Manufactures Association (GAMA) for alleged bullying of GAMA members, which they said was due to the fact that he did a livestream with Jon Del Arroz of the Fandom Pulse. It should be noted that Dwight Cenac wasn’t being canceled for things he said, but just for the association with Jon Del Arroz, a fellow Christian and conservative indie creator of sci-fi novels and comics that recently has faced shadow banishment from Kickstarter while crowdfunding his latest graphic novel, but has since found refuge at Fund My Comic to crowdfund his current and future projects.

Dwight Cenac, despite the onslaught of the cancel pigs, is not backing down and his morale couldn’t be stronger. I am pleased to report that despite his cancellation and removal from participating in both GenCon and Game & Party Con that he is having a good campaign for his board game HIGH NOON: AGAINST THE CLOCK on BackerKit. Despite the game itself being blacklisted from being hosted at major conventions or being discussed on major channels, his game is good solid fun. It is a miniatures board game that is a simulation of combat in a western town. A scenario based game that relies on playing cards, which is typical western fashion. It is ideal for fun for fans of the western genre and just looking at his campaign it is worthy of your attention.

I commend Dwight on his strength and perseverance through these trying times where one can and is facing the level of scorn for their religious and political beliefs in a witch hunt that should never happen in America. These indeed are times that try men’s souls as Tom Paine once said.
